Dear Senator _______,
Iām a naturopathic (physician ND, patient, advocate) living in your district.
Please pass SB 5037 - Creating the Washington state board of naturopathy (Keiser, Pflug, Kohl-Welles, Shin) out of the Rules Committee.
The Health & Long-Term Care committee passed it out of committee unanimously (Majority Report: Do pass; Signed by Senators Keiser, Chair; Conway, Vice Chair; Becker, Ranking Minority Member; Carrell, Kline, Parlette, Pflug, and Pridemore).
ND licensees will pay for the Board and it will not create any additional costs for the State.
A Board of Naturopathy is needed to ensure the highest standards of public safety, education and quality of care that Washington citizens deserve from our growing profession.
Thank you very much for your support.
